Irish beef farmers eye lucrative US market

Irish Farmers are hoping to sell up to 100 million euro worth of Beef to the US after the announcement today that a 16 year old ban is to be lifted.

The US will re-open its market to European beef - starting with Irish meat.

Farmers are welcoming the news, but say it's a long time coming.
