The Irish Cancer Society has canceled all Daffodil Day street collections and events due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Daffodil Day is the charity's biggest fundraiser of the year, and usually raises millions of euro for the Irish Cancer Society.
The charity has decided to cancel all events scheduled for March 27th to protect the health and wellbeing of our patients, volunteers and supporters.
ICS Chief Executive Averil Power says they now want to "focus all our energies on providing cancer patients and their families with the information, advice and support they need at this time".
