Irish fortunes have reached record levels according to the 2015 Sunday Times Rich List.

The list shows that the combined wealth of the richest 250 people is up by 15.9% on last year.

Hilary and Alannah Weston who control Brown Thomas and Penneys topped the Irish list with a fortune of 15 billion euro.

New entrants to this year's list include Sir Daniel and Lady Day-Lewis at 62 million euro.

Dr Colm Murphy compiled the list.
