An Irish man's being detained in Rio on suspicion of ticket touting.
The Brazillian newspaper Estadao reports that Irish citizen Kevin James Marlen was arrested on Friday a hotel near the Maracana stadium.
He faces charges of illegally selling tickets at above face value for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games .
He's been refused bail and is being held at a detention centre in the Brazillian capital.
A search of the Irish man's posessions has been ordered by the Judge in the case.
