An Irishman has lost his appeal against the decision to extradite him to the US on charges of advertising and distributing child pornography.
Eric Eoin Marques is accused of setting up a hosting site that allowed over a hundred websites to post videos and images of child abuse.
FBI Special Agent Brooke Donahue told the High Court that Marques is suspected of being “the world'’s largest facilitator of child porn”.
The Court of Appeal ruled against him today and a further stay has been put on his extradition to allow him decide if he wants to take his case to the Supreme Court.
