The trial of the Irish nanny Aisling Brady McCarthy has been postponed until October at the request of her defence team.
The Irish Times says her lawyers argued for more time to obtain medical reports - as there were delays in obtaining evidence from prosecutors.
Ms Brady McCarthy is accused of killing toddler Rehma Sabir in Boston in January of last year and was due to go on trial in April.
The Cavan woman has pleaded not guilty to first degree murder.
