Irish Olympic hero Paul O'Donovan has added a world rowing championship gold medal to the silver he won at the Olympic games.
The Cork rower powered to victory in the Lightweight men's single sculls at the world championships in Rotterdam.
He finished more than four seconds clear of Hungarian Peter Galambos who took silver, with Lukas Babac of Slovakia third.
The 22-year-old rowed with his older brother Gary in the Rio Olympics.
The Cork brothers are due to arrive home to a heroes welcome in their hometown of Skibbereen tomorrow.
