Irish people caught up in Hurricane Irma in the Caribbean last weekend may be entitled to a refund.
The European Consumer Centre says EU citizens who experience flight delays with European-based airlines have certain legal entitlements.
It comes as residents in affected areas are still counting the cost of the destructive storm, while search & rescue teams are continuing their operations.
The storm has led to the deaths of at least 50 people in the Caribbean and Florida, with a quarter of all homes in the Florida Keys destroyed by the storm.
Officials are warning those returning to the Florida Keys that most areas are still without power and water.
