Brian O'Driscoll says he was massively touched by the atmosphere and the good wishes he received at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday after his final home game for Ireland.
O'Driscoll who is due to retire from rugby after this weekends match against France received a massive standing ovation from the fans.
He made an impromptu phone call to the Ray D'Arcy show this morning after two of his biggest fans told how they hoped to get a picture of him after the team dinner in the Four Seasons Hotel on Saturday night but couldn't find him.
When Niall and Michelle Nolan reviewed their pictures from the Four Seasons - they realised Brian had accidentally photobombed them. He called in this morning and promised to organise a proper photo.
And he said it was lovely to share Saturday's atmosphere in the Aviva with his daughter Sadie.
He said the feeling and the atmosphere in the stadium was just 'insane.'
The Ireland No 13 said everyone in the Ireland camp is in 'fine fettle' ahead of the game against France.
