Irish Water accused of "harrassment"

Anti water charge campaigners have accused Irish Water of harrassing customers over unpaid bills.

Irish Water today confirmed it's begun phoning customers about outstanding payments - and says this is normal practice for any utility.

It's rejected suggestions that it has threatened to cut off customers, and says it is prohibited from doing so.

However, anti water charges campaigner Deputy Paul Murphy says people should refuse to engage with the company:
