An Irish woman has won best actress at the Olivier Awards - which celebrate British theatre.
Denise Gough - originally from Clare - won the award for her role in 'People, Places and Things'.
Irish playwright Martin McDonagh also won an award, and the Irish Theatre company, 'Fishamble: The New Play Company' was given an Outstanding Achievement award for their production, called Silent.
She now has 8 Oliviers for acting - more than any other performer.
