The majority of Irish women will wait up to 18 months to date again after a break-up.
According to new iReach research, 68% of Irish women will wait anywhere from six months to eighteen months to date again after the break-up of a relationship.
Men are much quicker at getting over a break-up taking with one in five men ready to put themselves out there again after only a month.
Over half of people said they would never ask out a friend's ex on a date.
However one in ten people say it's fine to date a friend's ex anytime between 1 and 3 months after the breakup.
For those who do find Mr. or Mrs. right, 41% said they expect their engagement to last more than two years.
