Young people in Ireland are the most likely to have tried so-called 'legal high' drugs in the entire EU.
Figures published by the EU's official statistics body this morning show 16 per cent of young Irish people have tried drugs from head shops.
That's more than three times the European average of 5 per cent.
The EU's published the data as it considers new Europe-wide laws to control the supply of psychoactive drugs.
