An Irishman has been shot dead at a holiday resort in Spain.

The Euro Weekly reports that the man, aged in his 30s, was shot at the Spanish resort of Angel de Miraflores on the Costa Del Sol.

The man was shot three times at around 11.30am this morning and a police investigation is now underway.

It is the second shooting in the area in a week.
