The French President Francois Hollande has blamed Islamic State for last night's wave of terror attacks in Paris in which 128 people were killed.
In a TV address this morning he described the attacks as an 'act of war'.
180 others have been injured - among them an Irish citizen.
99 of the casualties are in critical condition.
The deadliest incident was at a music venue - the Bataclan - where gunmen held audience members hostage - before blowing themselves up as police stormed the building.
Eight terrorists were killed - 7 of them in suicide attacks.
