Israel claims three mortars have been fired across its border since a ceasefire began this morning.
They hit the community of Eshkol, nearly 3 hours into a 5 hour ceasefire that was proposed by the UN.
They issued the call for a truce after four Palestinian children were killed, when a shell landed on a beach in Gaza.
Israel has described the children's deaths as a 'tragedy'.
