Israel wants the US to resume flights to its main airport.

American and most European Airlines suspended services to Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, after a rocket landed nearby.

The latest figures from the Israeli Defence Forces show that 2,160 rockets have been fired into Israel in the last 15 days.

The Palestinian death toll in the violence has now passed 600 - with some 30 Israelis also killed.
