Italy's Prime Minister, Enrico Letta, has resigned after his own party voted for a change of Government.
The centre-left Democratic party challenged Letta's leadership over the pace of reforms.
In a statement Letta said he would go to the presidential palace tomorrow to formally submit his resignation.
