The price of sending a letter is rising from next month.
An Post has confirmed plans to raise the cost of a standard letter from 60c to 68c from July the 21st.
The cost of sending a letter to the UK is going up from 90c to €1.
The increase comes four months after An Post reported an operating loss of over €11 million last year.
