It looks like Electric Picnicers will have a bright day with some sunny spells in Stradbally.

So if you're one of the lucky 50,000 people attending the festival you may be in for a dry weekend.

Tonight Blur and Sam Smith top the bill on the main stage.

And although the forecast may be good Promoter, Lindsey Holmes says packing layers is still a must;

Met Eireann's John Eagleton says it will stay dry.

Festival-goers are being asked to do their bit for the refugee crisis.

Organisers are looking for donations of tents, sleeping bags and other camping gear that will go towards refugees seeking shelter near the port of Calais.

The pick up point will be at the Global Green campsite at 10am on Monday.
