Men are being encouraged to talk about difficult times in their lives as part of International Men's Day.

Suicide support organisation Pieta House is holding an event in Dublin tonight to talk about the importance of men loooking after their emotional health.

In Ireland, 80 percent of people who die by suicide are men.

 

 

Tonight sport stars - including rugby player Jack McGrath and Dublin footballer Paul Flynn - along with artists and broadcaster will come together to talk about difficult times in their lives.

 

One of those taking part is editor of Joe.ie Paddy McKenna - he's been telling me about an incident in London a few years ago that
