The Jameson International Film Festival has unveiled its 2014 programme with Irish film "The Stag" to close the event.

Amy Huberman, Hugh O'Conor, Peter McDonald and Andrew Scott star in the comedy set in Wicklow.

The festival runs from the 13th of February for ten days and will screen over 222 hours of film at 11 cinemas around the capital.

Along with a number of Ireland's leading actors, Jaws icon, Richard Dreyfus and John Hurt are also in town to give talks and review some of the movies.

The festival launch comes after a bumper weekend for Irish film at Sundance, where Irish Film Board-backed features Calvary and Frank premiered to rave reviews from international critics.
