There's been emotional scenes as the children of slain father-of-two Jason Corbett said their final goodbyes to their beloved Dad at his funeral mass today.
Gifts of images reflecting Mr Corbett's love of sport were brought to the altar at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church by his 10 year old son Jack and 8 year old daughter Sarah.
The children were at the centre of a bitter custody battle in North Carolina before the courts decided they should be cared for by Mr Corbett's family in Limerick.
Mr Corbett was found with critical head injuries at his US home on August 2nd last.
His wife and father in law are "persons of interest" in the investigation into his death but have not been officially named as suspects.
