In her speech, on stage at the Dolby Theatre, in Hollywood, Los Angeles on Sunday night, Jessie dedicated the award to the "beautiful chaos of a mother's heart".

"To get to know this incandescent woman and journey, to understand the capacity of a mother's love is the greatest collision of my life.

"My Irish family, they're all here. Ireland bought them flights.

"Mom, dad - thank you for teaching us to dream and to never be defined by expectation, but to carve from your own passion".

"It is built on family, trust and empowerment by the people that love you and live with you.

"That is the long and short of it - the fact that we kind of do crazy hours and crazy things is really empowered by the people around us".

'One Battle After Another' was the big winner of the night, scooping six prizes including Best Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay and the new Casting category.
