Labour TD Joan Burton is urging both sides in the Luas pay dispute to get back around the talks table.
On Friday, tram drivers represented by SIPTU staged a 12th day of industrial action over their demands for higher wages.
Further strike action is due to take place next week, with a 4-hour stoppage planned for Thursday and an all-out strike on Friday.
Luas operator Transdev says it will dock a full day's pay from drivers who engage in 4-hour work stoppages.
