Joe Biden will visit County Mayo today.
He has family links to the county and will undertake a series of engagements.
The Vice-President began his six-day visit to Ireland last night, and held a private one-on-one meeting with Enda Kenny at Government Buildings.
This morning he'll visit Aras an Uachtaran - to sign the same visitors' book that his president Barack Obama did just over five years ago.

After a private meeting with President Michael D Higgins he'll fly to Knock Airport to spend the day in County Mayo.
The vice-president has family links to the county - his great-great-grandfather Patrick Blewitt emigrated from there in 1835.
His home town - Scranton, Pennsylvania - is twinned with Ballina, in a nod to their strong emigrant links.
The vice-president will spend the day touring the county, led by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, and is likely to meet some of his distant cousins there.
