One half of the Obama-Biden bromance is coming to Ireland!

Former US Vice-President Joe Biden will be in Mayo today to turn the sod on a new Hospice Unit.

Mr. Biden visited the county last year to trace his ancestral roots.

Today he'll officially get construction underway on the new Mayo/Roscommon Hospice facility.

CEO of the group, Martina Jennings, says 'it's an honour to have the former Vice President do the honours'.
