The newest member of the banking inquiry says he wants its remit broadened - and he wants to quiz Bertie Ahern, Brian Cowen and Enda Kenny at it.

Socialist TD Joe Higgins has been chosen to sit on the inquiry by the Technical Group after Stephen Donnelly quit after the Government re-inststated its majority with the appointment of two more Senators.
