Her Honour Judge Katherine Delahunt has passed away following a lengthy illness.

The 61 year old served as a judge of the Circuit Court from 2001, and had been a solicitor for 22 years before that.

Her funeral service will take place on Saturday morning at the Church of The Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.
