The jury in the murder trial of a Dublin teenager has retired for the evening after failing to reach a verdict.

17 year old Daniel McAnaspie was under the care of the HSE when he went missing in February 2010.

His badly decomposed body was found three months later in a deep ditch in Co Meath.

30 year old Richard Dekker from Dublin 15 is accused of aiding and abetting the killing of Daniel McAnaspie at Tolka Valley Park in Blanchardstown.

He denies the charge.

The jurors will resume their deliberations on Monday.
