The jury has restarted its deliberations in the Graham Dwyer murder trial.

The architect from Kerrymount Close, Foxrock denies killing childcare worker Elaine O'Hara at Killakee in Dublin in August 2012.

Mr Justice Tony Hunt has told the jury to deliberate for as long as it takes because so much is at stake.

At 14.40 by the court clock the jury began its deliberations for a second time.

The 7 men had 5 women began their task yesterday evening but Mr Justice Tony Hunt recalled them this morning because of omissions in his final charge.

He filled the gaps by recapping some of the forensic evidence and testimony relating to Elaine O'Hara's psychiatric history.

He's told the jury they can return a unanimous verdict of guilty or not guilty to the charge of murder.

The judge has told them to deliberate for as long as it takes – even if the case runs into next week.
