The jury in the trial of three former Anglo Irish Bank officials accused of hiding accounts from Revenue is expected to begin deliberations next Tuesday.

They'll hear closing speeches today, after the prosecution spent 22 days calling evidence from former Anglo staff, gardaí and revenue officials.

Judge Patrick McCartan yesterday told the jury of six men and six women that all the evidence has been heard in the case and that it will now be addressed by barristers for the prosecution and defence.

He will address the jury before sending them out to deliberate

Former assistant manager Aoife Maguire (62) of Rothe Abbey, South Circular Road, Kilmainham, Dublin, Former Chief Operations Officer Tiarnan O'Mahoney (56) of Glen Pines, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow and former company secretary Bernard Daly (67) of Collins Avenue West, Whitehall, Dublin have pleaded not (NOT) guilty to seven counts at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court .

It is alleged that they hid or omitted accounts, connected to former chairman Sean FitzPatrick from Anglo's Core Banking System or from documentation provided to Revenue, who were conducting an investigation into bogus non-resident accounts which may have been liable for Deposit Interest Retention Tax.
