The Justice Minister says there are many lessons to be learned from the O'Higgins report.

The findings and recommendations of the commission of investigation will be debated in the Dail again next week.

There have been calls for the Garda Commissioner to clarify her position in relation to the Report and the Whistleblower Sergeant Maurice McCabe.

It's after it emerged that her legal team had been asked to look into allegations of malice against senior officers within in the force, by Sergeant McCabe.
