The Army Bomb Disposal team has declared a suspect package sent to the office of Environment Minister Alan Kelly, a hoax.
The parcel arrived in the post at Minister Kelly's office in Nenagh this morning - prompting an evacuation of the building.
The army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team was called in to deal with the package - which contained a chemical substance, and a note of a threatening nature.
After an inspection, the package was declared a hoax and the scene was declared safe at 1.30 pm.
