The Taoiseach says Budget 2016 will bring ‘relief’ to middle income earners.

Ministers are arriving at Government Buildings this morning to sign off on the final measures - with a cut to the Universal Social Charge expected to be the main change to income tax.

The minimum wage is set to rise by 50 cent an hour - while old age pensions are set for a 3 euro increase per week.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny says the final Budget of this Government's term was designed to increase the take-home pay of households across the country.
