Enda Kenny and David Cameron are convening crisis talks on Northern Ireland next week.
It's in a bid to deal with the possible breakdown of the Northern institutions after the North's Chief Constable said members of the Provisional IRA were responsible for the murder of Kevin McGuigan in Belfast.
The Taoiseach says in a statement this evening that the talks should be short, focused and intensive and deal with full implementation of the Stormont House Agreement as well as the trust and confidence issues arising from the legacy of paramilitarism.
Enda Kenny says these talks must be advanced with a sense of urgency and that all of the parties must constructively seize this opportunity.
