Enda Kenny and David Cameron have welcomed the reconvening of the Northern Assembly in the wake of a report on paramilitary activity.
The two leaders spoke by phone this evening to discuss an the independent report that has found there was no IRA approval for criminal activity by members.
The DUP leader Peter Robinson says he will lead his ministers back into the power sharing government - despite the report's finding that the IRA army council still exists.
A separate Garda report has found no evidence that the IRA Army Council has any function south of the border.

The report commissioned by the British government says that IRA members believe the Army Council is responsible for both the IRA and Sinn Féin.
