The Taoiseach has promised to cut income tax and the USC for lower-income workers.
Writing in today's Irish Independent, Enda Kenny one-in-four workers won't be paying the Universal Social Charge by 2016 - and says he wants to make sure Ireland's economic recovery is "felt by those at work".
He's pledged to raise the minimum wage and is targetting an extra 40-thousand jobs by the end of 2015.
The Independent Group's Political Editor Fionnan Sheahan says the Taoiseach is trying to drum up support from sectors which have been critical of the coalition.
