The Taoiseach is to tell insurance providers they must cover homes in areas where new flood defence schemes have been been created.
Enda Kenny's meeting with representatives of the industry today in what he's promised will be a "forthright discussion".
Normally, householders who've been flooded once, can't get flood insurance cover again.
But the Taoiseach thinks that rule shouldn't apply in areas where flood defences have since been installed:
