The French President Francois Hollande has vowed to destroy Islamic State and intensify French airstrikes in Syria.

The President today addressed both houses of parliament following the Paris attacks on Friday which left 129 people dead.

This evening, the US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived in Paris to show his solidarity with France.

He will meet President Hollande tomorrow in Paris.

Secretary Kerry confirmed that President Obama will attend next month's Climate Conference in Paris.
