A Kildare mother of two awarded €350 thousand euro damages for sexual abuse suffered as a child has urged other abuse victims to come forward.

41 year old Noelle Doyle was sexually assaulted by a neighbour when she was aged between 7 and 12 in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Her abuser Sean Connolly of Kilkea, Castledermot has already served a 2 year jail sentence.

Now in his 70's he has now been ordered by the High Court to pay his victim damages.
