Kildare County Council is increasing its water supply from the River Barrow.

It's to help customers in the county who are being affected by the reduced supply from Ballymore Eustace, which serves the Greater Dublin Region.

It's been announced that night time water restrictions, from 8pm to 7am, will continue until at least next Thursday.

Around 1.5 million water users in counties Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow are affected.

Kildare County Council says it will review the situation again on Monday.
