Kilkenny City has been named the “cleanest town in Ireland” by Irish Business Against Litter.
It marks the Marble CityÂ’s third straight title - and follows its success in the Tidy Towns competition last year.
IBAL says there were improvements in cleanliness across the board in IrelandÂ’s towns and cities - with over 85 per cent of them now meeting European standards.
