In Britain

A Labour MP has been accused of misusing Commons notepaper to reprimand a shoe shop for failing to reserve a pair of novelty Star Wars shoes.

Angela Rayner claimed to have asked for a pair of the 4 inch R2 - D2 heels to be put on hold at a Brighton shoe store.

However when she arrived to collect her shoes worth the equivalent of 272 Euro (£195) - which have little models of the robot R2 - D2 in the heel, she was told they were sold out.

The 35 year old used headed notepaper to warn the manager at shop that his poor customer service would 'cost' him.

The controversy has led to Ms Raynor - being nicknamed Shoebacca in the commons.
