A labour TD says the party needs to be election-ready, and will need to 'do something' if its poll numbers don't start to rise.
Alan Kelly is one of seven Labour TDs, and he says under party leader Brendan Howlin they are starting to see recovery after the wipe out of 2016.
However, the polls put the party at only around 5 or 6% support - which is lower than Labour achieved at the General Election.
