The Irish Naval Vessel, the L.É. Róisín, is returning home this morning after a 10 week mission in the Mediterranean.
The ship has rescued more than 1 thousand 200 migrants, and provided assistance to over 1 thousand more since the start of May.
Families and friends of the crew will gather in Haulbowline in Cork to see their loved ones - who are expected to arrive between 9 and half past 9 this morning.
