The leaders of the four major parties have taken part in the final TV debate of the general election.

Enda Kenny, Joan Burton, Micheal Martin and Gerry Adams all participated in the debate hosted by RTE's Miriam O'Callaghan.

Topics included the economy and tax, housing, health and cronyism.

Fine Gael's Enda Kenny said the coalition needed a second term to make sure that every citizen could feel the benefit of an improved economy:


Micheál Martin of Fianna Fáil took issue with Fine Gael's plans to scrap USC:

Labour's Joan Burton said it was possible to get rid of USC for most workers while still not granting big breaks to high earners:Sinn Féin's Gerry Adams said the government had overseen a major crisis in housing and homelessness:
