Leo Varadkar is in Belfast today for a keynote speech on Brexit and the peace process.
On his first visit to the north as Taoiseach, he's due to make an urgent call for the restoration of power-sharing in the north.
In his address at Queen's University this morning, the Taoiseach will be calling for a speedy restoration of the North's power sharing bodies, saying they're needed now more than ever.
He's also expected to describe Brexit as "The challenge in our generation " - and say that whatever deal is reached will have an impact on every part of life in the north including jobs, the border, trade and public services.
Mr Varadkar will also emphasise the need to maintain the Common Travel Area between Ireland and the UK.
The Taoiseach will tell the event that the Irish government will do everything it can to achieve the best outcome for everyone on the island
But he'll also be warning that he doesn't underestimate the challenges ahead.
