The number of people falling behind on their mortgage repayments has decreased.
In May - there were 73 thousand seven hundred and 19 homes in arrears of more than three months - a drop of almost five thousand compared to the end of March.
That's about 15 percent of the overall number of residential mortgage accounts.
The Department of Finance is keen to emphasise the number of mortgages being restructured - and it says engagements between homeowners and their banks has led to 69,306 permanent mortgage restructures.
Buy to let mortgages have a greater proportion of arrears - with more than one in four of investment properties in arrears.
