Winter has arrived with snow reported in some parts of the country this morning.

There was also a lot of rain in places this morning with Met Eireann issuing a status yellow rain warning for Donegal, Mayo and Sligo.

It's also expected to stay cold tonight and tomorrow and into the weekend with widespread frost in many areas.
